November Going Going Gone

Since I have really gotten into using up products, I decided to make this a monthly feature so as to remind myself to keep on my kick. Here are the products that I finished up for the month of November.

First up are the Bath and Body Works Tea Tree Cleansing wipes. As I mentioned in my previous "going, going, gone" post, I recently finished the Tea Tree shower gel as well. These were purchased as a set at The Body Shop for about 1,500yen. Through this purchase I really discovered that I don't like the smell of Tea Tree, as I previously had. These wipes worked ok, but compared to some of the Japanese brands I have tried these were pretty substandard. At times my face even burned, from these wipes. This may not happen for everyone, but for me, face burning = not good. So unfortunately these will not be a repurchase.

My next item is also another purchase from The Body Shop. This is the Moroccan Rose shower gel. I really liked using this shower gel. The scent and the way it left my skin feeling were fantastic. I am not sure if this item is something hey carry all the time, I say this because I wasn't able to find it on their website. I would repurchase this one.

This next item was one I found while I was cleaning out my stash, I believe it was a free sample with another Fasio item I bought a couple of years ago which is long gone. It is the Fasio Cleansing Gel by Kose. I decided to use this up rather than toss it because it was such a small tube and wouldn't take very long to do so. It wasn't a bad cleanser, but I have come to find that I am not too keen on cleasning gels.

The same can be said about this next item, Dr. Ci Labo super sensitive cleansing gel. The gel quality of this was really not something I enjoyed. It cleaned my face very nicely and left it smooth, but I prefer cleansers that foam a bit more.

As I have color -treated hair with a protein straightening treatment in it, I am always on the hunt for items that protect my hair from the damage of hair dryers. This Liese Blow water for hair dryer, wasn't bad but compared to the item in my last going going gone post it wasn't as good.

Continuing with hair care I recently started using shampoo and conditioner by Aubrey Organics. I decided to try this GPB Glycogen Protein Balancing one out as I ran out of the shampoo and conditioner that came with my keratin treatment and needed to find something that was sulfate free and had protein in it. This satisfied both of my needs and was cheaper than Khiels. I really liked this shampoo, but it smelled awful! This was a pretty negative point for this item, but it didn't turn me off of the brand. I am now using a new, better smelling set by Aubrey organics that I absolutely love.

Hope you are all having a great week!

  1. I have some of the Tea Tree products from that range as well, and I agree, I'm not crazy about them. I've basically just stopped using them. =/ And the smell is quite icky, lol.

  2. Way to go on using up your stash! I've been trying to but it seems to take forever. Remember my friends who went to Korea in September and brought back a Nature Republic skincare set? I was sure that I was almost done with my moisturizer cause I couldn't feel any product when I shook it but it was like the bottomless bottle. I FINALLY couldn't get any more out two days ago! If I were doing this post, that would be the only thing that I will have used up for the last few months!

  3. @Lauren - I really considered doing that too, but since I paid for the items I decided to use them since I couldn't give them to anyone. I have learned my lesson about the body shop tea tree though! lol

@Kat - Thanks! lol, I have incentive to shop my stash since I am trying to save money for various things. If not for that I think I would just buy more as there are lots of things I would loe to try right now!
